A full day in the wilderness above Përmet. The 4x4 climbs deep into the Hotova-Dangell national park, through the fragrant fir and pine tracks of the Hotova forest, to the remote stone village of Frashër - the cradle of the Albanian national renaissance and home of the Frashëri brothers' house-museum.
From Frashër the route tackles the raw, rocky descent into Kamencka canyon, with its towering limestone walls and caves, and a quiet picnic in the canyon before the drive home. Park permits, museum entry and a packed mountain lunch are included.
