Enriko was born and raised in Përmet and has spent his working life on the Vjosa: rafting and kayaking its rapids, leading jeep days into the Langarica canyon, running multi-day river expeditions and walking guests through the old churches and stone villages of the valley.

It started with bees.
Illyrian Adventures grew out of the family farm. The house on the riverbank is still the base for everything - and every guest is still greeted with raki and a glass of the year's honey.

We take you into the stone villages above the Vjosa, to the families who still make everything by hand. You sit at their table: gliko - fruit preserved whole in syrup - raki from the village grapes, raw honey from our bee park, homemade wine and bread from the wood oven.

Yes - every tour runs for a minimum of 2 guests. If you are travelling solo, write to us on WhatsApp: we can usually add you to another group on the same day.
A 20% deposit confirms your reservation, and the remaining 80% is paid on the day - cash or card, in euro or lek. We send the deposit details on WhatsApp as soon as you book.
A certified guide, all the safety gear, transport from Përmet and back, photos and videos of your day, drinking water and a snack. Where a tour says lunch or a barbecue is included, it is.
No. Rafting and the guided kayak tour are built for beginners and families, and the guide teaches everything you need on the day. Only the rental kayaks are for confident paddlers who are happy on the water without a guide.
6 years for rafting, 8 for the Langarica canyon and 10 for kayaking. Hikes and off-road trips depend on the route and the child - ask us and we will tell you honestly.
