Cancelling a trip
Tell us on WhatsApp or by email and quote your booking reference. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start time on your confirmation: we refund your deposit in full and the date opens up for someone else.
Late cancellation and no-shows
Inside 24 hours, or if you do not arrive, we will have turned other guests away and paid for transport and guides. We ask you to pay 50% of the trip price; for groups of six or more, the full price. Your deposit counts towards that amount. We always try to move you to another day first.
Guest house stays
A stay at the guest house can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before check-in, with the deposit refunded in full. Inside 48 hours, the first night is charged, and the deposit counts towards it.
Changing the date, time or group
Free, as often as you like, subject to availability - just tell us. Extra guests are welcome as long as we have the seats.
When we cancel
We check the river and the forecast every morning. If conditions are unsafe we cancel or shorten the trip, and offer you another time or day. If nothing suits, anything already paid is refunded in full. We are not able to cover travel or accommodation costs beyond the trip itself.
Refunds
Where a refund is due it is made the same way you paid, in cash at the base or back to your card, within seven days.
